In short: visit statistics are collected in anonymous, aggregate form, with no cookies and without identifying you (Cloudflare Web Analytics). The only cookies that may end up on your device are the Google Ads advertising ones, and only if you accept them yourself on the banner: if you refuse, the site works exactly as before. We neither sell nor share your data for marketing purposes.
Visit statistics (no cookies)
To understand how many people visit the site and from what kind of device we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that uses no cookies, does not track users from one site to another and does not collect personal data: it only measures aggregate figures (page views, browser and device type). That is why it needs no consent. More information in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Cookies
The site sets no technical cookies of its own. Third-party cookies are only installed only if you switch it on yourself, by accepting on the banner or by opening the content:
- Google Ads (advertising): it only switches on if you press "Accept" on the banner. See the section below.
- Google Map ("Book" section): it only loads when you press "Show the map". From then on you are covered by the Google privacy policy.
- Instagram reels (Gallery page): they only load when you tap on the video. From then on you are covered by the Meta/Instagram privacy policy.
- PayPal (gift cards): the payment happens on the PayPal site, and only if you start the purchase yourself. There you are covered by the PayPal privacy policy.
Advertising: Google Ads
The club promotes the field with ads on Google. To find out which ads actually bring someone to write to us, the site may load the tag of Google Ads (ID AW-876440765), which sets profiling cookies (for example _gcl_au, lasting 90 days) and reports your interactions with the site to Google: pages viewed, clicks on the WhatsApp, phone and email contacts, team building form submissions, gift card purchases.
Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Until you give it, the tag is not loaded and no request goes out to Google; if you refuse, we will not ask again on every page. You can change your mind at any time with the button below. The processing is carried out by Google Ireland Ltd., an independent controller for its own purposes: see the Google privacy policy and the ad settings of your Google account.
Browsing data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web service, Cloudflare keeps technical logs (including your IP address) needed to serve the pages and protect them from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site. We do not use this data to identify you or to profile you.
"La Recluta" chat
The messages you write in the chat are processed automatically by an artificial intelligence model (Cloudflare Workers AI) for the sole purpose of answering you. Conversations are kept by our staff in anonymised form, to understand which questions come in and improve the answers: we do not record your IP address, we use no cookies or other identifiers on your device, and any email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses typed into the chat are removed automatically before storage. Each conversation only carries a random code, generated by your browser and deleted when you close the page, which keeps the messages of the same exchange together. We do not ask for personal data in the chat: please avoid entering any.
Gift cards
To buy a gift card we ask for an email address, a phone number and the recipient's name: they are needed to complete the payment through PayPal, send you the receipt, deliver the card and contact you if something does not add up. Legal basis: performance of the contract. The data is not used for anything else. It stays in the gift card register, which only staff can open with a password, for as long as the card can be redeemed.
WhatsApp, phone and email contacts
If you message us on WhatsApp, email us or call us, we use your contact details only to reply and to handle your booking. WhatsApp is a Meta service: their own notice applies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, the restriction of processing, or object to the processing (art. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to infopaintballfranciacorta@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
